The long respite that this site has taken is due to a multitude of reasons ranging from a change of majors (Comparative Literature to Philosophy with a focus in nihilism), the reading of various works, many of which will be touched upon or completely analyzed in later posts, and the writing of an essay which was for a class, but will be rewritten and formatted for publication.
I would also like to take a left turn sometime down the road of OP in that I will be posting various critiques (not reviews) or films, specifically starting with Children of Men, moving to La Cite’ des Enfants Perdus and even going to the wonderfully Jack-filled Chinatown.
Now, without further ado, the aforementioned essay is here for you ability to download. It is a ‘Word’ document, and is in a .doc format. For those of you who happen to require quotations for their essays, feel free to take parts of my writing for your own work, but only so long as I am properly cited. Remember–plagiarism is a crime, and while many of us are against the normally enforced social crimes, this is a crime against the mind, against free speech and against a fellow thinker.
